A Walk in the Park

Mr. Charlie gets a walk everyday and if it is raining he gets a walk in Petco. It has been so pretty out lately, we have been taking him to the park. We started off small with about a 45 minute walk but Monday we thought he had grown tired of that same walk in the park. We decided to take him on a trail walk. We weren't sure if he would like it or not so we started small, and after 45 minutes he was still trotting. So... my big boy walked 3 miles on Monday! He makes for a well behaved little boy if he gets his walk everyday. Sometimes when it is threatening rain we have to walk him closer to the house but since Matthews is going through a beautification process, the walk is not too shabby. He is our little bulldozer, he gets everything on the ground, because he is so close to the ground. My dad refers to him as a bulldozer, I guess because he is so strong too.

He tells us everyday he wants a sister named Lucy. I don't think that kind of money is in our bank account right now, and I think Mr. Charles needs to be mature before we introduce another puppy. We are going to buy a house first before we go down the road of another dog too. Charlie will have to wait. I think he is frustrated because he hasn't quite figured out how to play with Jack yet. I will take some pictures on our trail walk this afternoon. There are 5 miles of trails at Frances Beatty Park so we have many options. It is very pretty right now too because everything is in bloom. We are also going to the park on Easter, the park in Concord. Chad, Charlie and I will have a picnic lunch and 2 nice walks in between. My whole family will be out of town, so I decided to spend Easter just the boys and I. I will take pictures there too! Have a Happy Hump Day!
