Are you going to purchase Snapple's new flavor "Trop-A-Rocka" when Bret Michaels wins next week? Bret Michaels made it into the final two! I don't know how the finale will be since he has been so sick lately but I am so happy he made it to the finals! Sharon was third but

I think Donald kicked her off because she was crying so much, oh well! I am so happy for Bret and happy for his charity to support Juvenile Diabetes. Their challenge was to create their own flavor for the Snapple company and all proceeds from selling it will go to the winner's chosen charity. Bret's flavor is called Trop-A-Rocka, awesome! It is actually a Diet Snapple for those with Diabetes, like Bret. Chad and I were kind of irritated by Bret during the very first episode but his creativity and drive helped us grow to like him more. Now we look forward to tasting Bret's "Trop-A-Rocka." Good Luck Bret!
Bret has shown he is a true spokesperson for Diabetes. He has talked about and shown some of its difficulties on the show. Holly is living a tough life as a mother of a son with Autism, but all she seems to talk about is how it is hard on her. She never gives the sons viewoint or issues that he has with his life. Holly is all about herself to support her Autism charity. Bret has been an open book since day one of this season Apprentice. He has shown that Diabetes is a difficult disease but can still be handled if you can recognize some of the warning signs.... refering to the diner episode where his blood sugar was going low and he was just open to the people he was talking to about it.
ReplyDeleteBrets biggest problem on this show is that he has always been a total open book and the cold hearted Curtis Sone knew it and took advantage of it. I think a 5th grader could have beaten Bret during that negotiation. Bret's creative mind will pull him through the rest of this competition though.
I actually like Holly's label using the puzzel pieces better then Bret's.... however all she did was copy Autism's symbol.
If Snapple was smart, they would pick Bret to win because their Diet flavor sales are rather poor. Bret can possibly bring in a huge population of people who do not normally drink Snapple into the picture. Holly missed out on just focusing on the sugar water drinkers. To grow a business, you need to expand your market place. If Snapple could work on some agreement with the American Diabetes Association, then they would get a huge surge potential in Diet Snapple sales. I think the idea is to improve Snapples sales, not just add a flavor.
I will buy Bret's Trop-a-Rocka drink. I have only purchased 2 Snapple drinks in my whole life, but I'm sure to try this one. My biggest issue with Snapple is that their normal drinks contain more sugar then a can of pop. How is that healthy for kids and overweight people? They are forcing NYC kids to drink it by having a contract with the NYC Board of Education. Plus the stuff is expensive. It shouldn't cost more then $.75 but it is usually $1.25 at the absolute cheapest.
Wow...
ReplyDeleteI have never drank a Snapple drink but I would drink one that had ingredients like cinnomon which Bret indicated can help with diabetes. I can't wait to try the new drink.
ReplyDeleteI just bought "Trop-A-Rocka" today.....YUMMY!! I don't plan on trying Holly's, I agree that regular is just flavored sugar water. Bret followed through with a GREAT diet tea, the cinnamon is subtle and really compliments the mango and pear. I hope this is a flavor that lasts for a long time to come. WAY TO GO BRET!!!!!
