We were lucky enough to get 50 yard line seats for this game. It is all free, we didn't pay a penny, except for
the t-shirts we bought. It's all p
aid for by my mom's company, pretty sweet. We never know about seats until we get there. But, since we have touch-down zone parking there are huge big-screens under the awning there in case we don' t have seats. But, this game we did. We played Florida Atlantic, which is not a well known team but it was still fun. We had a lot of fun leading up to the big game. My dad snapped this shot of this little girl enjoying a
Corona, not really but it looked like it, hehe. We had a pretty good time tailgaiting this time be
cause we were celebrating my dad's birthday and my sister Jill got to go. She always seems to be the life of the party. I think she had too much to drink at Childress so she laid a little low at the game. Usually there are a lot of recruits hanging our at our cockaboose so there's not much room inside. But there were no recruits there that early so we got to enjoy our food in the cool air. It was nice getting in out of the hot sun. Otherwise we stayed outside of the caboose underneath a tent to see all of the activities going on outside the stadium.

Game time finally came around and it was time for "Cocky" to reveal himself. I
think he is the
coolest mascot! They have a huge unveiling of him at every home game. He's hidden in a black box that shoots out smoke, and then he pops out! The team shortly follows him. This is the best part of the whole game, besides the winning part. There are just no words to describe how this stadium feels, it really shakes because of all of the excitement. It was a good ga
me, we played poorly in the first half still with
a lead but we came out in the second half full of force beating FAU 38-16. We had a great time and can't wait for the next game. Unfortunatly we can't make it to this weeks Thursday game against Ol Miss but we are going to the next one against South Carolina State before facing Tennessee. I am so glad my parents brought me up as a Gamecock fan, I don't know who I'd be without being a fan of college football. I am also glad Chad took to it almost 6 years ago, because then where would I be? Who knows? All I know is this is one of the many things we agree on, and I am glad of it.
